TERMS & CONDITIONS – SIKAR MARATHON 2025
OVERVIEW
This website and event are operated by Sikar Infotech. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sikar Infotech. By registering for and/or participating in Sikar Marathon 2025, you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, including without limitation runners, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, partners, and contributors of content.
Please read carefully before registering or participating. By accessing our website, registering, or joining the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not participate.
1. Event Registration
Choose your event category carefully. Confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified.
Provide a valid and secure email ID and mobile number for updates. Communications from us should not be treated as spam, and no action should be taken against our bulk SMS/email provider.
Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed received by the participant.
2. Acknowledgment of Risks
You acknowledge that long-distance running is a strenuous sport and can be injurious to health.
By registering, you accept full responsibility for your participation and release Sikar Infotech, Dedicated Runners Group Sikar, the organizing committee, and their members from any liability for injury, accident, or health issues.
3. Personal Information
You agree that your personal details may be stored and used by organizers for event administration, promotions, and statistical purposes.
4. Event Modification or Cancellation
In case of adverse weather, safety concerns, force majeure, or other unavoidable reasons, organizers may modify, postpone, or cancel the event.
Registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Organizers reserve the right to reject any application without explanation. Only rejected application fees (excluding bank charges) will be refunded.
5. Health Advisory
Participants should eat healthy meals and avoid alcohol before the run to prevent dehydration.
6. Behavioural Conduct
Any participant causing harm, distress, or inconvenience to others (participants, staff, organizers, service providers) may be removed without refund and reported to authorities.
7. Early Termination of Participation
If a participant withdraws mid-race or cannot continue due to fitness issues, no return support or refund will be provided.
8. Medical Responsibility
Participants must follow the organizer and medical staff instructions. All medical expenses will be borne by the participant.
9. Injury and First Aid
Minor injuries are common; first aid support will be available. Organizers will take reasonable measures to ensure safety.
10. Itinerary Changes
Organizers may change routes or schedules due to unexpected circumstances. No liability is taken for participant travel or accommodation expenses.
11. Medical Disclosure
Disclose any pre-existing medical conditions before participation. Organizers are not responsible for undisclosed issues.
12. Prohibited Activities
Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited during the event.
13. Liability Waiver
Organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, illness, or injury during participation.
Organizers are not responsible for damage to personal belongings or vehicles.
14. Parking Restrictions
No parking inside the venue. Parking is at participant’s own risk.
15. Rule Violations
Participants violating rules will be disqualified without refund.
16. E-Certificates
Provided only to participants who finish within cut-off timings and pass through all timing checkpoints.
17. Finisher Medals
Medals will be awarded only to those who complete the course.
18. Baggage Policy
Participants are advised not to bring baggage or valuables. Organizers are not responsible for loss/damage of belongings.
19. Timing Bib Tag
Timing bib tags must not be interchanged. Violators will be disqualified from present and future events.
Bibs must be worn as instructed to qualify for official timing, medal, and e-certificate.
20. Bib Requirement
Bibs (chest numbers) must be worn at all times during the race. Entry without bib is not permitted.
21. Minor Participants
Parents/guardians registering minors must consent to their participation. All rules apply equally to minors.
22. Bib Collection
Bibs must be collected in person. Representatives may collect only with written consent and original ID proof of the participant (Aadhar Card/Driving License).
23. Prizes
Final results will be declared by our official race timing management partner.
Winners are subject to bib tag verification, anti-cheat checks, and official approval.
Organizers may require additional ID/age proof before disbursing prize money. Non-compliance may result in disqualification.
The decision of timing partners, technical officials, and Sikar Infotech will be final.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India under the jurisdiction of Sikar, Rajasthan.
